foodie pics!
this, is the rather famous omelette rice in my skool's kopitiam. pretty decent if u'd ask me..m only $3.20... heh. the rice is really fragrant, prob due to the soot on the teppanyaki griddle that the chef clangs his equipment on. he occasionally does some flip-the-utensils-into-the-air tricks to wow the girls buying food. hahaha. the omu rice is like, the cheapest meal one can get from the jap stall i think... not v v filling if ure starving.

my uncle cooked on the day we gathered at my aunt's place, it was sort of a farewell dinner before he left for new zealand... yummiii, look at the spread!
assam prawns!!
this is not cooked by us. not enuff time for such hassles la.. its bought from the roast meat stall near my place... 'dui mian'. u ate there before dear... got soups there too. we had duck rice i think. v gd roast meat! second to the dedap one me thinks. missing that one already..... slurpsss..
i dunno what u call this dish man. my ah gong used to cook that alot when he was still ard. miss him. its more of a chinese new year dish, with fresh fish, leek (suan), as well as pieces of tofu...v v gd! me like!

n lastly, the all time favourite kang kong with hei bi hiam. yum yum ehhh? u can't get gd n 'fresh' dried shrimp in melb! haha too bad. (weird to say fresh cos shrimp aint fresh man. but u know what i mean la..)

n this, was my dinner today. with sweet potato porridge. im expecting to eat qt abit of this for breakfast in melb... hehe... that the fried anchovies, fried egg in dark sauce, and fried fish. yum yum all goes damn well with porridge. =D
